Who owns the content?

All artworks, images, texts, and other materials on the Digital Street Art Depot belong to the artists, contributors, or Street Art Museum Amsterdam (SAMA), unless stated otherwise.

Can I use the content?

You are welcome to explore, learn, and share links to the platform.

If you want to reuse content (for example: reposting images, publishing, or using it commercially), you must first get permission from the artist or rights holder.

Street art is still protected

Even though street art exists in public space, it is still protected by copyright.
Please respect the artists and their work.

Some content may be open to use

In some cases, content is shared under open licences (like Creative Commons).
If so, you can use it under the conditions shown (for example: crediting the creator or non-commercial use only).

Sharing your own content

If you upload or share content on the platform:

  • you keep ownership of your work
  • you give SAMA permission to display and use it for cultural, educational, and archive purposes

Respect and credit

Always credit the artist or creator when sharing content.
Do not edit, misuse, or misrepresent the work.
