1.1 Scope
These Terms govern access to and use of the Digital Street Art Depot database (the “Platform”), operated by Stichting Street Art Museum Amsterdam (“SAMA”).
By using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
1.2 Purpose of the Platform
The Platform functions as a participatory heritage infrastructure for the documentation, preservation and interpretation of street art as shared cultural memory.
Use of the Platform must align with this public, cultural, and non-commercial purpose.
1.3 Acceptable Use
Users must:
- comply with applicable laws and regulations
- respect the rights of artists, communities and other users
- refrain from misuse of the Platform
Prohibited actions include unlawful use, harmful content, data harvesting, system disruption, and spam.
1.4 Intellectual Property
All Platform content is protected by intellectual property rights owned by SAMA or its licensors.
Content may only be used for personal, educational or research purposes, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
1.5 Platform Integrity
SAMA reserves the right to monitor, manage, and safeguard the Platform, including editing or removing content where necessary to maintain quality, safety, and legal compliance.
1.6 Liability
The Platform is provided “as is.” SAMA does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access and is not liable for damages arising from use of the Platform, to the extent permitted by law.
1.7 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of Dutch courts.
This licence supports long-term preservation and accessibility of shared cultural memory.
1.8 Take-Down Procedure
If you believe content infringes your rights, you may request removal via:

Requests will be assessed in line with legal and heritage considerations.
